A Trip to Umm Al Emarath Park

Field trips are recognized as a vital part of learning. Children need a range of visual and sensory experiences to inspire and stimulate their creative potential.  These experiences create synaptic connections which build cognitive, social and emotional structures that will serve as the foundation for their progress in life.Field trips take the book learning from the classroom and extend it to life.

On 22nd Feb 2018, our primary students went for a fun and educative field trip to Umm Al Emarat Park, Abu Dhabi. The students were welcomed by the park rangers with a scintillating warm up dance. The park rangers took each grade level to different areas of the park for a very informative tour where they spoke about plant adaptations in UAE , tropical plants in UAE , farm animals  and a beautiful area called the Wisdom Garden where students were inspired by Sheikh Zayed's quotes and vision.

The park rangers did a wonderful job enlightening all students and teachers about the vastness of UAE fauna and flora. They emphasized on tolerance and hospitality of Emiratis and expats living in UAE.

Our students had a seamless day at Umm Al Emarat Park. Under the bright sun, surrounded by greenery, an ideal way to learning with fun; to see it, manipulate it or participate in it physically. Moreover , a nonpareil opportunity  to be proud of the heritage and vision of UAE .
